Meet your Founder

I was born and raised in a small Kenyan town hidden on the windward side of Mt Kenya, known as Meru. I grew up speaking Gujarati with my parents, relatives, grandmother, and our community in Meru.

My parents knew the importance of making sure we were well versed with our mother-tongue, so they would practically not allow us to speak English while at home.

That led to a series of events, the main one being, this - the launch of SGC. What started as a standard education consultancy quickly turned into a language haven. More and more people have been reaching out to me, wanting to learn the language, in an informal but sure setting; hence, I'm now launching Gujarati Language Circles - without the traditional pressures of grades, exams, or classrooms.
